Poet Mary Oliver’s question informs every moment of my work as a college consultant, academic coach, and award-winning educator. For over 25 years, I taught Writing, English, History, and Humanities (honors and AP levels) in private and public high schools in Chicago, Seattle, and Tampa. In 2006, I transitioned out of the classroom and into coaching and tutoring, specifically working with students on writing skills and the pursuit of their college dream.
Guiding students as they navigate their academic journeys is my passion. As a highly trained educational consultant with an Ivy League education, I have a proven record of success in helping students discover their own strengths and interests. I take great pride in cheering young adults on as they head out to begin their own wild and precious lives.

As an Independent Educational Consultant, I have completed all the professional training available (the profession does not have licensure requirements), including the prestigious Summer Training Institute of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
